Writer's Identity

I see myself as a writer that only needs to write when I have to.  I really don't writing for fun. When I think about it, I chat with people all of the time about different matters. You would think that I would love to write.  I'm always posting status reports about my life on Facebook.  I know that's not the same thing. I think I could become a writer. If I am forced to write, I feel that's where the fun goes away.  When I do things on my own that are meaningful to me, I enjoy that better.  Even now I am having a hard time writing. I know what the topic is but I would much rather be writing about other things.  I know that I need to build up a love for writing in order to help my students become awesome writers.  I love learning new ways to improve my teaching skills and I think this class will help become a better a teacher in the future.  I love to write things about my family, myself, my interests.
